congratulations to Marie Hawkins who passed her test in York this morning with 5 driving faults.

It’s been a long and stressful journey to get here but you did it! You’ve had so much to cope with these past few weeks including your test being changed at the last minute last Wednesday due to strike action but thankfully it was rebooked for today and luck was finally on your side. It must have been that lucky penny I made you pick up off the wet floor just outside the test centre!

It’s been a pleasure teaching you and getting to know you and most importantly, getting you to see the driver I’ve always seen in you. I’ve never doubted you and hopefully after today’s fab result you might start believing me! Trust yourself out on the roads and enjoy it. There’s a reason why you passed today, remember that!
